I was so thrilled that it turned out to be a beautiful day! It's been so cold out... although today was chilly, it was still perfect weather! Pam is such a gorgeous bride and Shane is a really great guy... I'm so glad I got to be a part of their big day! Congrats guys! :)

This heartbreaker has a special place in my heart! I did his 1st birthday pictures back in July of this year... I also did his aunt's senior portraits (love you girl!), now we are doing fall/Christmas pictures! He's your average toddler with LOTS of energy and sweet grins! Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday Monica!!

Seniors, Seniors!!

Seniors are still in full force and I love them all! Last year I photographed only 12 seniors for the whole year and still worked full time at the bank... this year I have already photographed 35 seniors since June and worked full time at the bank (up until last month when I finally decided to go full time photography!)

I told this senior she reminds me of Kristen Bell, the actress from Veronia Mars. Anyone else see that??

Family Fun!

Wanna know why I love my job so much? Because capturing the smile in a family is priceless. Life is so precious and we just never know when our time is up... think of your own family. How much do you cherish them? Pictures may be a little annoying at times (especially for men!), but years from now you'll want to look back and remember your life.

This job allows me to enjoy what I do while feeding my family and paying my bills. I thank each client who has asked me to photograph part of their life. You guys are what made my dream of being a full time photographer come true.

Brother/Sister & a Boyfriend

Today was a beautiful day for pictures... I'm loving this weather! (It's nice to have good weather, that means I can work and get paid! But when you get to have this much fun on a daily basis it's hard to call it a job!) My models today were just as beautiful (and handsome!) as the weather!

It is also a sad day... I want to recognize the family that was supposed to be on this blog today. A family that I used to babysit for lost their father yesterday. This is such a sweet family and I was really excited about doing their family portraits today, but there is one thing that I am for sure of and that is that heaven has another angel. Please keep the Bright family in your prayers. I love you guys and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Urban Family {Crossville, AL Family Photographer}

Today was a great day for pictures... minus all the crazy wind this morning! I was particularly excited about today because A.) the A.M. session and I have something very much in common... our husbands both serve in the military and we are going through some of the same things right now. B.) the P.M. session is technically family... by marriage, but I'll gladly claim them! lol!

Urban/brick shots are my favorite ones to do... just because they are different, but simple and classic.

Gosh, I can remember taking them to baseball practice and hanging out by their awesome pool. Was that really even a job? I had so much fun! And we had just as much fun today shooting his senior portraits! :)

Ever heard of Hannah Harper Modeling? You should! I did her senior portraits last year and now she's modeling! It was such so much fun working with her... this year, I did her younger sister's senior portraits. She was just as much fun! They are both gorgeous and completely up for anything. Gosh, just look at those eyes on these girls!

It was a beautiful, sunny day this afternoon for the generations photo shoot. I love these type sessions, they're so meaningful. You never know when your time will run out, so sessions like these are priceless! These women are so sweet and gorgeous... each generation just gets better and better.

I was tickled to death when I got a phone call from Factory Connection a couple of weeks ago. They had seen some of my senior portraits I did for one of their models and wanted me to do their next commercial photo shoot promoting the fall line. This is one of my very favorite stores... they have great name brand clothing for an even better price!
