Spring is in the Air... somewhere anyways. {Albertville, AL Newborn Photographer}
It seems like winter will never end and neither will the rain, but spring is definitely in the air. Babies are everywhere! I keep hearing about new bellies and new babies! So congrats to all the new parents out there!
I had to drive hours and hours, well actually, walk next door to my neighbor's house, to this little man. He is so irresistable! With those pouty little lips and big blue eyes, I have a feeling that he'll be a little heart-breaker! :)
I had to

Engagement Session! {Albertville, AL Engagement Photographer}
In only less than 3 weeks from now, this sweet couple will be officially tying the KNOT! Yay! :)
This is my favorite part of doing weddings... the engagement session. This is the time I get to know the bride and groom on a personal level. I get to see how they interact with each other and their personal style, which gives me an excellent idea on what to expect with the wedding! :)

6 days old... {Dawson, AL Newborn Photographer}
Its definitely time for spring! New babies are everywhere and I've got several that I'm waiting on now! This baby boy was a fighter today! He didn't want to go to sleep at all! He must've known something different was going on, but we did get some great shots... wrinkles and all! ;)
10 Days With NO COMPUTER!!!
So, about two weeks ago my computer got water spilled on it. Lol! I
Although it has been crazy with no computer... I still had photo shoots to do!
I also got a late Christmas present from Santa! Ahh... love it!!! :)

Time for a little R&R!

A peek into the new 2010 senior invites!
the fountain is FROZEN!
that's at least a 50 foot drop behind us...
This time of the year is my vacation time! I owe it to myself and my husband to have a little break for a while.
So, we decided to drive up to the Smokies for a few days with our friends. We rented a cabin from Mountain Chalets. The drive to the cabin was terrifying! It snowed, so the roads were slippery, plus they were VERY steep! Now, don't get me wrong... the cabin was beautiful and we will definitely be back!
This month is also my design month... I use my down time to start designing senior invites for my upcoming graduates. To see more, please check out my website.
Brides!! I've had an overwhelming response from all of you! :)
Now is the time to find and book your photographer for the big day. Saturdays book fast, so to give you that extra push to book now... I will knock off $100 of your total if you book and sign your contract by January 31st, 2010! So get to it, ladies! ;)

Texas Sweethearts! {Albertville, AL Engagement Photographer}

This Texas couple wanted to take a drive to Mentone, AL yesterday to do their engagement portraits. Besides with freezing tempertures in the mountains... the views are absolutely breath-taking and worth the drive!
I hope you guys enjoy your time visiting family, have a safe drive home, and I'll see you in May! :)

Merry CHRISTmas!

I want to wish everyone a Merry CHRISTmas and a wonderful New Year in 2010. I've grown so much over the past year and appreciate everyone who has helped me get to where I am now. I love this job so much... its overwhelming at times, but seeing my clients face light up when they see their finished portraits is what makes each day worth it.
I hope everyone remembers the true meaning of Christmas. It's not about presents, or crazy trips to Walmart.... it's about the gift that God sent us.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have enternal life." John 3:16

Here's my last session for 2009. Time for a little vacation and time with the family. :)

Baby its cold outside!! {Albertville, AL Family Photographer}

Everyone from Crossville knows Mrs. Edge... she's one of the many favorite kindergarten teachers ever! ;)

Mrs. Sandy moved to Alabama from Boston with her sweet family and somehow found me. I love this little boy and all them curls! :)

These sweet little girls froze to death this day and suprisingly still wanted to keep taking pictures! lol!
I've got a few more sessions left for 2009 and here's a few of them. Pictures are always such a perfect gift for loved ones, right? I hate that I can't post a few of my other sessions from this week, but again... they are presents and have to be kept a surprise! ;)

Hello Little Blog... I'm Back!

My awesome cousins, Tiffany, Mark, and Tristan. :)

Beautiful Christmas baby.

I did pictures for this little doll this time last year when he was still in mommy's belly. :)

No need for a gym when you work with two year olds. :)

This is just a few of my favorites from my Christmas Special this weekend.
It feels like its been months since I've been on here. I've been very busy rounding out the end of my season... no, I'm not quitting... this is just most photographer's "off season". Kinda like teachers with summer. Looking forward to 2010! :D

Woodall Family {Albertville, AL Family Photographer}

Yesterday, I met up with the Woodall family. We met through several of my past clients and we've been setting up this photo shoot for several weeks now... so we were getting a little scared with the weather. It was cloudy and even sprinkled just a little bit, but all in all the weather held up for us and we got some great shots! :)

I love Turkey!! {Fort Payne, AL Family Photographer}

I love the holidays so much. Its the time of the year when you get to spend a little extra time with family. First there's Thanksgiving, then the Alabama/Auburn game, then Christmas, and finally New Year's. I am very thankful for my family and all the memories we've made throughout the years and I know this family will cherish all of their memories as well.
Everyone be sure and check out Stephenson's BBQ in Rainsville later this year! Its the best BBQ around!

Brother/Sister Senior Session {Albertville, AL Senior Photographer}

Today I had my first double senior session... a brother/sister session! They both are very sweet and both love the outdoors! So this session was very easy to do in one day! Christina was jumping up in trees and climbing walls, while Brandon was doing donuts in the mud and playing the guitar for us! :)
Also want to thank all my other clients I've had this past week that I did not post. (They are Christmas presents... I can't be posting those!)
I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving week, I know I will! ;) My husband is coming home tomorrow!!!
